The City of Conover is pleased to announce the 2018 Annual Christmas in the Park event will be held on Tuesday, December 4th at 5:30 P.M. at the Downtown Park in Conover.
This exciting event is an excellent start to the holiday season. The festivities will begin with holiday hayrides by volunteers from the Foothills Antique Power Association starting at 5:30.
Then the program will begin at 5:30 in the evening with welcoming remarks by Mayor Lee Moritz and City Council members. Children choirs from local schools will then continue the program by singing a variety of festive Christmas carols. Following the music we will enjoy the annual “Lighting of the Tree” in the Downtown Park and Santa Claus himself will arrive on a Conover Fire engine.
Free coffee and cider will be provided by the Conover Fire Department.
